Mahmood Alam (Chairman)
Has made his living out of tanning and crafting exquisite leather products.
He joined the family business at a young age of nineteen and there has been no stopping him ever since. After gaining valuable experience in tanning leather,
he founded Leather Trend in 1991 which specializes in manufacturing leather goods for retailers in the western market.
Today, the firm has quadrupled in size under his leadership. He devotes his time and effort in the purchasing and marketing activities
of the firm. Over the years he sculpted a firm which produces goods of the finest quality which include classic style and dynamic fashion styles.
He is a foodie and hence even runs a couple of restaurants under himself too.
Farhan Lari (CEO)
Farhan, brother-in-law of the Chairman, joined Leather Trend as an amateur in 1997 to learn the know-how of the leather and leather goods
manufacturing while doing his bachelors degree in commerce from Lucknow University. Two decades later he
finds himself as an integral part of the company as he looks after the over all management. He dedicates a
major chunk of his time and effort in the tanning and finishing of raw leather. The laudable leather used
in the products of Leather Trend are all thanks to him.
When away from work Farhan loves movies and also admires cars. If not leather, he would definitely be a film director by now!
Shaaz Alam
Shaaz, son of the chairman Mahmood Alam is working in Leather Trend. He graduated in May 2018 with a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from
Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He has helped in the development of certain products and
also introduced modern quality control methods. He also has experience in investment banking after
working in Brown Brother Harriman in Boston.
Shaaz has a perseverance to do business. He is an avid reader, an adventurous traveller and also an automobile enthusiast.
