Our Legacy:

Leather Trend is a family run business which is currently transitioning into its second generation of exquisite leather manufacturing. The company was founded by Mahmood Alam in 1991, who is currently the Chairman of the firm. Prior to Leather Trend, his ancestors were involved in the tanning of crocodile and reptile skins. However, the embargo of commercial use of reptile skins by the Government of India resulted in the birth of Leather Trend, which strictly indulges in the tanning and manufacturing of cattle hides and skin.

Our Present:

Leather Trend has a company structure of a sole proprietorship. We source rawhides and skins from trusted suppliers across the world. Our in-house tannery processes the raw leather to produce finished leather that match our customer requirements. We have an army of 600 skilled and semi skilled labors that exercise their craftsmanship to produce finely tuned leather goods and accessories. Since we are a government recognized export house our products are exported to renowned retail and e-commerce fashion brands based in international markets. Our various production facilities give us a combined output of 20,000 bags and 15,000 wallets per month. The facilities are ISO 9001:2000 certified and is a socially viable unit according to SMETA/SEDEX.
